Organizing Principles:
Single Words-as opposed to phrases, this means you build phrases by putting single words together instead of selecting preset phrases, this allows for a much higher number of potential messages , since single words can be added together in many ways
Core Vocab-in every language 400-500 words make up 80% of what people say
Motor Planning-consistent & predictable patterns allow for more fluent use of broad vocabulary and more complex sentence structure
Word Families-associated words are near each other within navigation, includes nouns, verbs, descriptive words,

- lower case speaks, upper case opens
- color coded : yellow for pronouns, green for verbs, blue for adjectives, orange for categories of noun
