Here are some simple ways to work on this sound at home:
1. Play a simple name and find game- one person asks a question “What is ( descriptor)?” like “What is blue? “ or “what is little?”, and the other person has to point to something and say “That is blue/little, etc”.
2. Sorting activities are another way to work in the phrase “this is”- as in “this is Mom’s, this is Dad’s , this is mine”.
3. Guessing hidden objects is a great chance to use “there”. For example put something in a box or a back pack, close it up & then say “guess what’s in there”. The person making guesses uses the phrase “ a ___ is in there”, etc.
