The emphasis in this lesson is on producing the /s/ sound at the end of words.  The sound is made with the tongue behind the teeth, slightly touching the roof of the mouth. A common way to elicit this sound is to tell your child to smile, bite, then blow. ​ 

​Here are some easy activities for practicing this sound at home or while you're traveling around during the day:



 Line-up cheer: Teacher- Hocus pocus!  Kids- Time to focus!
