Hubbards Cupboard has a ton of printable booklets based to target shared reading stories, sight words, word families and concepts. A personal favorite of mine is a little booklet about the Pledge of Allegiance in the shared reading stories section.

Sometimes as kids are still developing their reading skills it may be hard to find reading materials that appropriate for their ages, interests and their oral vocabulary.  Here are some things out there for older developing readers.

GUYS READ   is a site that lists reading material that might be particularly interesting for guys.

Spelling City.com is a site that let's you enter a list of words & then puts them into all kinds of activities.

is a site from England.  It has short articles & stories.  Sentences are written out in words with a superscript of picture symbols to support comprehension.  There is also a monthly PDF news magazine,  but the news is British...
