Here are some simple ways to model and practice this sound at home:
1. "Up & down" games- There are lots of way you can play with games and toys to highlight these words, such as racing toy cars, building & knocking down towers , and flying and landing toy planes. Emphasize the final /p,n/ sounds.
2. "is"/"is not"- Make up a guessing game where you give each other a few clues. For each guess from the guesser, the person listening to the guesses will say "it is" or "it is not". Emphasize the final /t/ & /z/ sounds
3. Counting - Count your favorite things and say how many you have. Emphasize the final -s when you announce your result , e.g., 5 cars, 3 cups. Sometimes that plural -s actually sounds like a /z/, e.g., 2 toes.
